The BruHealth application will be updated with a new health promotion feature, which is BN on the Move or BNOTM, and it will be launched on Sunday, 14 August 2022. According to the Minister of Health, the new feature aims to encourage people to be more active by doing activities such as walking or increasing the number of steps every day in order to prevent or control non-communicable diseases.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health will also launch the 1 Billion Steps Together Campaign, which is a challenge activity to achieve 1 billion steps together which will also start on 14 August 2022. Early bird registration has opened for those who wish to participate in the campaign starting yesterday, 8 August in the BruHealth application. Members of the public who wish to participate will need to update their BruHealth application to the latest version which is version 3.0.6. The campaign’s launching is open to the public who are interested to participate in the 1 Billion Steps Together Challenge, which will be held on Sunday, 14 August 2022 at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital at 6:30 in the morning.
