Bandar seri begawan: 14 aspiring entrepreneurs were awarded a total of BND34,047 in entrepreneurial capital assistance under the Welfare Financing Scheme. The assistance was presented at a ceremony held at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital, facilitating the development of the recipients' planned businesses.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the capital was handed over by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, who serves as a Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee. The scheme mandates that participants complete several training programmes conducted by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in collaboration with LiveWIRE Brunei. Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development and Acting Managing Director of Yayasan, was also present at the event.
