The 15th Annual Bilateral Cooperation Meeting between Anti-Corruption Bureau, BMR and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, SPRM is a platform to discuss matters related to joint investigation and prevention efforts in fighting against corruption as well as capacity development in preventing and eradicating corruption.
The meeting took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. BMR delegation was led by Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Elinda binti Haji C.A.Mohammad, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau. The meeting was jointly-chaired by Yang Berbahgia Latheefa Koya, Chief Commissioner of SPRM and Datin Paduka Hajah Elinda. During the meeting, both agencies shared their efforts in joint operation and investigation including mutual legal aid.
The Brunei Darussalam's BMR delegation also held an initial discussion with the Chief Commissioner of SPRM and the officers at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Office. Apart from reiterating commitments in bilateral cooperation between both agencies, and positive transformation towards further strengthening the ability to handle corruption cases, the BMR delegation also took a closer look at the investigation and prevention facilities available at SPRM's new building.
