200 New COVID-19 Cases

200 new COVID-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking the country’s total COVID-19 cases to 16,891.

The Ministry of Health in its press release stated that out of the new cases, 194 are local while 6 others are imported. Three thousand 4,424 lab tests were carried out in the past 24 hours.

There are 760 active cases after 36 cases recovered, bringing the total recovered cases to 16,029. Meanwhile, the bed occupancy rate in isolation centres nationwide is 12.6 percent.

As of 2nd of February 2022, 94.8 percent of the total population have received at least 1 dose of the vaccine, 94 percent with 2 doses, and 41 percent have received 3 doses of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, for the movement restriction carried out from 12 midnight to 4 in the morning, five violations of the directive were recorded.
