22 Students Participate In Jenesys 2018

22 students from various schools and one supervisor will visit Japan under the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths, Jenesys 2018 programme between Japan and the Asia-Pacific region launched by the Japanese Government.

This afternoon, His Excellency Motohiko Kato, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam, held a send-off ceremony for the participants from Brunei Darussalam who will participate in the "Japanese Language Communication and Japanese Culture Exchange" under the Jenesys 2018 programme. The programme will be held for 8 days starting this Tuesday. Various activities have been lined-up during the programme such as a school exchange, a historical site visit and a homestay programme. The Jenesys 2018 aims to expose the young people's mind to Japanese culture, economy and technology as well as understand its substantial interest for Brunei Darussalam.
