His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince, Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman, yesterday watched the 25th Brunei Age Group Swimming Championship. The championship took place at the National Swimming Pool of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex, Berakas.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohamad Yussof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Also present were His Royal Highness' son and daughter, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman.
In this championship, His Royal Highness' son, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim won in the 50 metre Breast Stroke event, with a recorded time of 56 seconds.
More than 300 swimmers representing 14 teams from host country Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Labuan, Sabah, Sarawak and Miri took part in the 3-day championship.
