28th ASEAN-China Summit Highlights Enhanced Free Trade Partnership

Bandar seri begawan: At the 28th ASEAN-China Summit, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam highlighted the longstanding relationship between ASEAN and China, emphasizing China’s role as ASEAN’s first free trade partner.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty, in his titah, expressed that the upgrade of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area 3.0 is set to deepen cooperation in pivotal areas associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This upgrade is expected to enhance connectivity, stimulate innovation, and promote inclusive growth, which will, in turn, support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises across the region.
