Bengkurong: In celebration of Kampung Bengkurong Mosque's 40th anniversary, the mosque committee members organized a ceremony on the night of June 17 to commence the 40 Times Khatam Al-Qur'an Reading.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Kampung Bengkurong Mosque has been a pivotal institution since February 26, 1988, playing a crucial role in fostering community bonds, spreading religious knowledge, and serving as a hub for spiritual and social development among local residents. As part of the anniversary celebrations, a series of programs will be held, including a Hijrah Walkathon from mosque to mosque, and a mosque cleaning campaign, aimed at further strengthening community ties and promoting collective well-being.
