The briefing on the function and role of Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) in handling the development of micro, small and medium enterprises, MSME's in Brunei Darussalam was among the matters presented at the fourth and fifth Youth Entrepreneurship Plenary Sessions 2018. The conference was held yesterday morning at the Dewan Muzakarah, International Convention Centre in Berakas.
Earlier, the fourth plenary session discussed on economy in entrepreneurship titled 'Memacu Pembangunan Brunei' or Driving Brunei's Development. The session was participated by Awang Haji Syed Mohammad Yassin bin Haji Syed Anayatullah Shah, Founder of Battle Pro Management; Awang Sahrulnizam bin Haji Ismail, managing Director of Empire Solution Sendirian Berhad; Masrhiem Taufik, Chief Executive Officer of ESCA Marine and Engineering and Vanessa Teo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AGROME IQ International Sendirian Berhad.
Meanwhile in the fifth plenary session, the Ministry of Energy (Energy and Manpower) and Industry explained about i-Usahawan presented by the ministry's representative. The plenary session provides an opportunity for new entrepreneurs to raise questions to more experienced entrepreneurs in the management of enterprises. Present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, Deputy Minister of Energy (energy and Manpower) and Industry. Also present was Javed Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of DARe.
