The fourth and final haj flight carrying the country's intending haj pilgrims has left the country at 5.30 yesterday afternoon using Royal Brunei flight BI4205, and is expected to arrive in Madinah at 10.10 in the evening local time. The group comprised of 254 intending haj pilgrims including 3 Haj Medical Officers and officers from Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad.
Present to bid farewell were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and wife; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, TAIB Board of Directors; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health and wife; and Dato Seri Paduka Doctor Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin; Acting Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.
Also present were Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and wife; as well as His Excellency Emad bin Abdul Aziz Al-Muhanna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to the country.
