64 New COVID-19 Cases

Brunei Darussalam reported 64 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 787. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin  Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health stated the matter at a media conference on the latest COVID-19 situation yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al ‘Afiah, Ministry of Health. Also joining the media conference was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.

 

Yang Berhormat said there are additional cases for the existing active clusters: 10 cases for Semporna Enak Cluster; 10 cases for ChungHwa KB Cluster; 4 cases for ABCi Cluster; 4 cases for Champion 7 Cluster; 3 cases for BSP HQ Cluster; 2 cases for Al-Falah/Freda Radin Cluster; 1 case for 477 Cluster; AND 1 case for IBTE KB Cluster. Apart from that, there are 2 new clusters detected: 2 new cases, Case 765 and Case 766 are linked to Case 635 reported on the 13th of August 2021. This cluster is now known as Cluster 635, referring to Case 635. 2 new cases, Case 774 and Case 776 are linked to Case 630 reported on the 14th of August 2021. This cluster is now known as SKH Gadong Cluster. Meanwhile, 1 new case, Case 755 is linked to Case 573 reported on the 13th of August 2021. Meanwhile, there are 24 cases with unidentified source of infection.
