The latest COVID-19 situation in the country. 9 COVID-19 cases are in Category 4, while 1 case is in Category 5. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health informed the matter at the Media Conference on the Latest COVID-19 Situation at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health yesterday afternoon.
792 new cases were reported, taking total cases to 131,403. Of the new cases, 695 were from ART results uploaded to the Ministry of Health’s portal, while 97 were from 2,670 RT-PCR lab tests.
In the meantime, 1,560 cases have recovered, bringing total recovered cases to 124,465 with 6,736 cases remaining active.
At present, the bed occupancy rate in isolation centres nationwide is 3.1 percent whereas 122 active cases are placed in isolation centres and hospitals, while 6,614 positive cases are on home self-isolation.
