As a law enforcement agency, the police force needs to ensure that all challenges faced can be addressed in a wise manner through methods which cover all aspects as the police force has no other option but to face and address current and future challenges with full confidence, wisdom and Tawakal to Allah Subhanahu Wataala. The Minister at the Prime Minister's Office highlighted the matter at the 97th Police Day celebration, yesterday morning. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud also called upon the police to instil a readiness and positive attitude, both in terms of thinking and action, in facing whatever challenges.
According to Yang Berhormat, the Royal Brunei Police Force needs to emphasis on capacity building from the officer level up to the police personnel and taking into account the values of piety, loyalty, integrity, dedication, credibility and leadership, in line with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal BolkiahMu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's titah in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 34th National Day celebration namely as a progressive Islamic country, the strenghtening of Syar'iah is a prerequisite for the nation to ensure it continues to reap the fruits of prosperity and security.
Also present were Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Mohd Shah Al-Islam, the Commissioner of Police and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, the Deputy Commissioner of Police. Established on the 1st of January 1921, the Royal Brunei Police Force continues to strive to improve its quality in line with the development and changes in time. With its 97 years of establishment, the Royal Brunei Police Force has drafted several initiatives in order to improve its services to members of the public in together ensuring the county's peace and stability.
