On Thursday, the first Haj flight from Brunei Darussalam would leave for Saudi Arabia. Normally, the country's intending pilgrims would stay for several days at Madinah Al-Munawarah. Haj operator companies have reserved hotels for pilgrims, who are usually booked into accommodations close to Masjid An-Nabawi or the Prophet's Mosque in the Holy City.
Four hotels are now ready to take in the Brunei Darussalam intending pilgrims. While in Madinah, the 820 people taking the Darussalam Holdings Haj packages will stay at the Dallah Taibah Hotel. The hotel has reserved three twenty two rooms according to the packages of haj pilgrims under the company. Apart from air-conditioned rooms, the hotel also provides internet or wi-fi access, restaurant and a comfortable lobby area.
Shaza Al Madinah Hotel will accommodate intending pilgrims using the Straight Central Agency or SCS packages. The hotel also offers fully air-conditioned rooms and is located next to the Dallah Taibah Hotel.
Sofara Alhuda is another hotel accommodating intending pilgrims from Brunei who use the Straight Central Agency packages.
Just six hundred metres from the Masjid An-Nabawi, 40 intending pligrims using the Raudah Al-Amin Company's haj packages will stay at the ODST Al Madinah Hotel. The hotel provides a large and very comfortable dining area and is only three hundred metres away from the Old Bazzar in the Holy City of Madinah Al-Munawarah.
