The Poverty Eradication Action Plan as well as the Action Plan for Differently Abled Persons, OKU, Senior Citizens, Families, Women and Children as well as the National Youth Policy and Strategy 2020 to 2035 were touched upon in the adjournment speech by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
These action plans aim to enhance resilience and economic independence of target groups especially to get out of the cycle of poverty and reduce dependence on Government aid. The National Youth Policy and Strategy 2020 to 2035, it has become the foundation for all initiatives implemented to produce Youth of Hope with a Bruneian Mould who are resilient and positive with a core of the Malay Islamic Monarchy, MIB philosophy.
