Adhere To Sops, Operation Hours for Drive-Thru Swab Centre, Bridex Hall, Jerudong, 1 Directive Violation Issued With Compound Fine

The Minister of Health also advised members of the public to continue to adhere to the SOPs and guidelines set by the Government and practice social responsibility as we live with COVID-19.

These include ensuring that one gets the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and encourage family members as well as others to take the third dose; Wear a well-fitting face mask when going out or around others; Practice physical distancing; Practice personal hygiene at all times; Get yourself regularly tested with ART; Ensure indoor spaces have good ventilation; Use the BruHealth app when entering premises and reporting health status; Stay at home if you are unwell and get yourself checked if you have flu-like symptoms; and If one is tested positive with COVID-19, follow the set health protocols to manage the infection.

Meanwhile, starting yesterday, 7th of February 2022, the operation hours for the Drive-Thru Swab Centre at Bridex Hall, Jerudong has been reviewed and will operate daily. It is opened from Monday to Thursday and Saturday at 8 in the morning until 7:15 in the evening. For Friday, it is opened from 8 to 11 in the morning and from 2:15 in the afternoon until 7:15 in the evening. On Sunday, it is opened from 8 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. Booking for the PCR test at the Drive-Thru Swab Centre can be made through the QueUp app. The service at the Swab Centre is NOT for any individual who requires a swab test for outbound travel or pre-departure swab purposes. Swab tests for outbound or pre-departure swab purposes can be obtained at other swab centres as usual. For the movement restrictions carried out from 12 midnight until 4 in the morning, one violation of the directive nationwide was issued with a compound fine, for violation of the directive to stay at home.
