Aerial drone services are gaining popularity in the country as it offer views from different perspectives. What started off as a drone racing hobby for a local, it now became a source of income for the owner of Skyvision.
Active in drone racing the country and overseas since 2014, Awang Mohd Khairul Hazmi bin Haji Munir is now confident to open business offering aerial drone services and drone flying training. According to the owner of SkyVision, the intention of starting said business began following requests from his friends to do aerial shots of their homes.
Currently, the services provided are not limited to aerial views of homes or buildings, it also spans to shooting aerial footage of farms and paddy fields. To meet the customer's demands, the equipment used must be maintained carefully aside from maintaining discipline and a proper work system. These are the main factors in running the business.
Having the vision of upgrading the drone industry in the country, Awang Mohd Khairul Hazmi hopes that in the future, there will be more local drone operators. This will help the country to develop further, inline with the advancement of technology in achieving Wawasan Brunei 2035.
