In conjunction with the International Day of Al-Azhar As-Syarif which is celebrated every 7th of Ramadhan, the International Rabitah of Brunei Darussalam Al-Azhar Graduates Alumni organised a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony late yesterday afternoon. The ceremony was held at Ar-Rahim Mosque, Kampung Bukit Panggal in Tutong District.
The recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony included a Kalam Azhari lecture session and Tadarus Al-Quran ceremony and reading of Tahlil and Doa kesyukuran. The ceremony coincided with the presentation of donations to 16 orphans of the village and the children of Al-Azhar Alumni. Also present was Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yusuf, Ra’es of the International Rabitah of Brunei Darussalam Al-Azhar Graduates Alumni.
