American Bully dogs maul 70-year-old man to death

Khon Kaen, Three American Bully dogs mauled a 70-year-old grandfather to death. The deceased's son is sad and is demanding that the owner take responsibility. The dog owner wonders if the deceased opened the door himself. Mr Prasit, 33 years old, and his family are in a state of grief and have contacted the morgue of Srinagarind Hospital, Khon Kaen University, to claim the body of their father, Mr Lek, 70 years old, after Mr Lek was mauled to death by three American Bully dogs on the road in front of a house in the Ban Kho area, Kut Khon Kaen Subdistrict, Phu Wiang District, yesterday (July 24). The son of the deceased said that he usually works in Chonburi Province and a relative called to tell him that his father was bitten by a pack of dogs. Then half an hour later, the relative called back to tell him that his father had died. Normally, his father would walk around the village, but on the night of the incident, he did not know how his father was bitten by a dog. He only knew that his father went to coll ect money for frogs that his neighbors had bought, but was bitten and mauled by the dog. The body was ganged up on the head and face until it was a mess. Initially, he had not spoken to the dog owner, but he wanted him to take responsibility. The reporter went to the dog owner's house and found the three dogs that caused the incident lying still in a cage, not even barking at the stranger who had entered the house. The male and female were about 3 years old, while the puppy was a male about 1 year old. Mr. Sakon, the dog owner, said that yesterday evening, his wife went out to buy things while he went out to do errands. He left all 3 dogs in the house and locked the fence with an electric wire and a key, which is normal every time he leaves the house. At night, he lets the dogs out of the cage, but locks the front and back doors tightly. The neighbors know that he does this routinely. Then at 7 pm, his wife came back home and saw Mr. Lek's body stuck to the fence in front of the house. He was still confused as to why the fence, which was locked 3 times, was untied, allowing the dogs to escape. Normally, this type of dog is not aggressive, but will bite when provoked and angered. As for helping the family of the deceased, they will discuss it later. The American Bully was developed from the American Pit Bull, making it kind, friendly, and not as aggressive as the American Pit Bull. Although their appearances are similar, it is easy to recognize them from their short, stocky, and muscular appearance, which makes them look intimidating. Source: Thai News Agency
