owards raising awareness among the community on the importance of the support of parents, teachers and the public in shaping children’s excellence, a virtual forum was held, titled ‘Anak Aset Negara Kitani’. In conjunction with the World Children’s Day 2021 celebration, the forum was held in collaboration with the Brunei Youth Council and the Department of Community Development, JAPEM and supported by the Department of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications; Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education; Children’s Cancer Foundation, YASKA; and Brunei ICT Awards, BICTA.
The event was participated by Yang Berhormat Dayang Khairunnisa binti Awang Haji Ash’ari, Member of the Legislative Council as The President of Brunei Youth Council. The forum involves children aged 12 to 17, accompanied by their parents or mentors in sharing the successes achieved from different angles, namely arts, sports, ICT and daily life.
