As an appreciation for bringing up Brunei Darussalam's name by winning first place in the ASEAN ICT Award 2021, 'Digital Content' category, the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunication yesterday morning held an Appreciation Ceremony for the award's recipient. With the TECHSIM product namely 'Virtual Assembly Simulation' using Virtual Reality and Hand Motion Sensors, Rumine Corporation defeated participants from Indonesia and Thailand.
Present, was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. Rumine Corporation's win was announced at the Award Ceremony via online on the 28th of January.
According to Dayang Sarinah binti Ziziumiza the Chief Executive Officer of Rumine Corporation, in terms of the special features, their product uses the 4.0 industry technology using VR and XR. XR is a platform where everyone can browse the company's platform and undergo the training provided by them.
The Chief Executive of AITI said that Rumine is also considered among the best for the digital content category. AITI welcomes those who wish to venture into the field of ICT. AITI also provides assistance as well as opportunities such as training to develop their products and opportunity to participate in BICTA competitions
