Arrival of Final Haj Flight Brings Pilgrims Safely Home

Bandar seri begawan: The fourth and final flight carrying 246 Brunei haj pilgrims safely landed at Brunei International Airport at 5:53 in the afternoon.

According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, the pilgrims were welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who serves as the Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as well as the Second Minister of Defence. Joining him were Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Minister of Religious Affairs, and His Excellency Saleh bin Abdulkarim Al-Shiha, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei.

The arrival of the final flight marks the successful completion of the haj journey for the Brunei pilgrims. This return journey was a significant moment for the pilgrims, who had embarked on their spiritual journey weeks earlier. The welcoming committee at the airport underscored the importance of this event, reflecting strong ties between Brunei and Saudi Arabia in facilitating the haj pilgrimage.
