242,190 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine have safely arrived in the country from Belgium last night.
Present at the Brunei International Airport Cargo Centre was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. Also present was Ms. Emily Flecker, Charge d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy and representatives from Pfizer (Malaysia) Sendiran Berhad. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is used for all age groups, including the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 for Adolescents aged 12 to 17.
