The first 100-member group of the country's intending haj pilgrims is now in the Holy City of Makkah after spending several days in Madinah Al Munawarah. The travel from Madinah to Makkah via bus took approximately 8 hours.
Present to greet the group at Dallah Ajyad Hotel were Sheikh Ibrahim Mohd Said Tahar Banjar, Head of the 112 Office, and Awang Haji Abdullah Haji Muhammad, Head of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Management and Medical Office.
The second group is expected to depart from Madinah on the 7th of August, the third group on the 8th, and the final group on the 9th of August. Throughout their stay in Makkah Al Mukaramah, the country' intending haj pilgrims will be staying in several hotels.
In another development, the Brunei Darussalam Haj Management and Medical Office delegation has held a meeting with Dato Jameel Sulaiman Bundagi, General Manager of Nozoly Makkah Al Mukaramah. In an interview with RTB, he explained that the company has made preparations in welcoming the arrival of the country's intending haj pilgrims from Madinah Al Munawwarah.
