Gadong: The second cohort of students who have successfully completed the ASEAN Cyber Shield Programme were feted at an Appreciation Night, last night. The event was organised by the School of Computing and Informatics at Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB, and took place at a hotel in Gadong.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Datin Paduka Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, UTB Vice-Chancellor, and His Excellency Sun Nahmkook, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam. The ASEAN Cyber Shield Programme is designed to bolster regional cybersecurity capabilities and encourage cross-border collaboration among upcoming cybersecurity professionals. This initiative receives funding through the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund from the Government of the Republic of Korea.
