ASEAN-Republic of Korea Transport Cooperation Forum

Sustainable transport policies for coping with COVID-19, specifically on the Republic of Korea’s Digital New Deal and Logistics Policy, were among those discussed during the 11th ASEAN-Republic of Korea Transport Cooperation Forum, held via video conference. The forum also discussed on the progress of the ASEAN-ROK Transport Cooperation Roadmap 2021 to 2025.

The ASEAN Member States, including Brunei Darussalam, also presented their respective national transport policies in-line with the theme of this year’s Forum, “Future Directions for ASEAN Sustainable Transport Policies: Coping with Global Challenges Including COVID-19”. The forum was officiated by His Excellency Noh Hyeong Ouk, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea. Representing Brunei Darussalam at the forum was Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. The Forum is an annual platform spearheaded by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation of the Republic of Korea.
