ASEAN Youth and the Republic of Korea had the opportunity to interact with ASEAN Youth Ministers and stakeholders at the highest level, during the first ASEAN Youth Dialogue held in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The hybrid dialogue was themed “Youth in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution: Opportunities and Challenges in Post-Pandemic Recovery”.
Representing Brunei Darussalam to the dialogue was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. A closed session was also held which, among others, discussed 2022 as the Year of ASEAN Youth. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports also held a meeting with His Excellency Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia; His Excellency Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law of Singapore; His Excellency Nguyen Tuong Lam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Viet Nam; and Mohd Azhari Bin Mohammad, Director General, National Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia.
