The Konsortium Muallafpreneurs under the Muallaf Development Division, Islamic Da’wah Centre in support of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD is taking part in the BIBD Connects Asnafpreneurs Nite Market Project. The project that was launched on 21st July afternoon, at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in the capital, aims to provide a marketplace for entrepreneurs comprising of tithe and National Welfare System recipients.
It was inaugurated by Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA. 19 booths are provided for the entrepreneurs. The project, held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th Birthday Celebration, is taking place until the 31st July 2022 from 4 in the afternoon to 10 at night. The project also involves former inmates of Prisons Department and Bakarih entrepreneurs of Yayasan.
