In conjunction with World Poetry Day, the Language and Literature Bureau, DBP yesterday held the “Baca Bahana Puisi Antarabangsa 2022” event. Organised by the Literature and Magazine Division in collaboration with the Putra Seni Group and the Angkatan Sasterawan dan Sasterawani Brunei Darussalam – Asterawani; the event was held virtually and posted through DBP’s social media account.
Among those participating was Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. ‘Baca Bahana Puisi Antarabangsa’ is a combination of ‘Baca Bahana’ project and ‘Deklamasi Baca Puisi Antrarabangsa’ in conjunction with World Poetry Day which is held every 21st of March. The project aims to hold meetings with local and foreign writers as well as commemorate World Poetry Day on 21st March every year.
