At the Banquet, His Majesty interacted and received junjung ziarah from the attendees beginning from Officers and personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF.

Accompanying His Majesty were:

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen; and

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel.

As the pillar of the country's peace and security, the RBAF has gone through many changes and development in implementing its role. These include excellent efficient leadership at the helm of a strong, reliable and efficient defence force capable of facing any threat. In the titah in conjunction with the recent 58th Anniversary of the RBAF, His Majesty reminded the RBAF personnel that success cannot be achieved with physical strength only but true strength stems from internal characteristics such as loyalty, honesty, trustworthiness and courage or bravery. It is His Majesty's strong belief that these values will prevent violation of security that can jeopardize the capabilities of the RBAF.

The Royal Brunei Police Force is another security organisation that plays a major role in maintaining the country's peace and sovereignty. As the main law enforcement agency that ensures the country's people continue to live in peace and prosperity, the Royal Brunei Police Force, RBPF continues striving to improve the quality of its services in line with the changing times and other development. The Royal Brunei Police Force has also established a network of cooperation and partnerships with other stakeholders and law enforcement agencies in its effort to enhance its services.

Uniformed Government law enforcement and security agencies work closely together in maintaining the country's peace and security. Solid cooperation among uniformed government officers and personnel is very vital to ensure the government can continue to provide the best services to the people especially in handling the various security and emergency scenarios that require strategic and combined responses.

Uniformed volunteer organisations such as the Military, Police, Fire and Fescue Cadets, Red Crescent, Scouts and Girl Guide Associations also greeted His Majesty in the junjung ziarah. His Majesty is regarded as the motivator and driver of the voluntary services and activities. The Monarch is confident that exposing more youth to voluntarism will create an awareness among the young generation to be more sensitive towards the needy and underprivileged.

Members of uniformed groups and youth associations in the country are mostly youths. They are among His Majesty's main interests and often mentioned in many of His Majesty's titah which call for improvement among them and government programmes in supporting development and building youth identity at various levels.

Involving the youths in national development to achieve Wawasan Negara 2035 is a top priority of the government. This is to ensure they will not be left behind or be neglected in any effort geared towards national progress. It is in line with His Majesty's aspiration to see high quality youths who are keen to improve themselves and active in beneficial activities. The country's youths have shown encouraging achievements in entrepreneurship, economy and community activities. At the same time, government agencies also provide the infrastructure and assistance to the youths, particularly in guiding them to engage in entrepreneurship.

The National Service Programme, PKBN trainees also greeted His Majesty in the junjung ziarah. The programme which aims to build the youths' potential and instil the quality of excellence in the youths is among programmes given high priority by His Majesty. Brunei Darussalam will never let any generation steer away from religion, but will continue to be consistent in instilling Islamic values in their life. To ensure the youths, especially those who join the PKBN maintain their unique personality, the programme's courses focus on strengthening identity, and enhancing physical and spiritual strength.

His Majesty also received junjung ziarah from Officers and personnel of the Royal Gurkha Rifles. This reflected the unique relations between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom which are based on trust, mutual respect and close cooperation in various fields, as well as appreciation of the services of the Seria-based Gurkha military contingent since 1962. This signifies the country's aspiration in the international arena to maintain a policy of good relations and mutual respect with other nations.

The Banquet was a golden opportunity for those present to greet His Majesty and convey birthday greetings to the Monarch. The event was also an expression of His Majesty's appreciation to the people who play a very vital role in guarding and maintaining the country's peace, security and prosperity.
