According to Radio Television Brunei, the opening matches saw some decisive victories. In the Women's Open Category, CJMM secured a significant win against Minimau, with a final score of 94 to 18. In the Men's Open Category, Easyway triumphed over Wan Sing with a score of 91 to 60.
