Blood Supply Urgently Needed

The Blood Donation Centre is currently facing a shortage of blood supply and needs donors for all blood groups immediately for the use of blood transfusion to patients at all government hospitals. The public is called to donate blood at the Health Promotion Centre which is today, the 3rd of November, Thursday, the 4th of November and Saturday, 6th of November from 8 until 11 in the morning and 12:30 to 1:30 in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Postal Services Department, Ministry of Transport and Infocommuncations will organise the Blood Donation Campaign in conjunction with the World Postal Day 2021. Members of the public are welcome to together make the campaign into a success. The blood donation slots can be booked through the BloodKad apps or via “walk-in”.

Blood donors can also visit the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital Blood Bank, Belait District and Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Hospital Blood Bank, Temburong District for donation as shown.
