The bodies of two missing people have been found at separate locations yesterday morning. A young Filipino man – one of the victims – was discovered at the Berakas Reserve Recreational Park Beach. While the other victim was an Indonesian man whose body was found at the Tungku Beach.
The body of the Filipino was discovered at around 7:17 this morning, some 500 metres from the location where was reported missing. He was 15 years-old. The second victim, a 23-year-old Indonesia, was found at 11:58 in the morning. His body was spotted at the waters near the Empire Hotel in Jerudong. The Fire and Rescue Department said it had received emergency calls regarding drowned cases at three beaches in the Brunei Muara District. The reported locations were the Tungku Beach and the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park Beach, at around one o’clock yesterday. Earlier on at the Muara Beach, two Indonesians were rescued from the sea by a group of people before the Fire and Rescue Team arrived at the scene.
