Belait: Border control posts are a major focus during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday as people took the opportunity to visit relatives in neighbouring states. RTB crew took a closer look at the Sungai Tujoh Control Post in Belait District and found immigration officers busy serving vehicles entering and exiting the border. The Immigration and National Registration Department has extended the operating hours for the control posts, usually from 6 in the morning to 10 at night, to 6 in the morning to 12 midnight until this Sunday, 29th of March. According to Radio Television Brunei, the busy atmosphere was also felt by all officers and staff of Labu Control Post, Temburong District. The public are reminded to take appropriate safety measures during this festive season and ensure that the vehicle used is in good condition before starting the journey.
