Bandar seri begawan: A History Recreation Programme was held at the Borneo Studies Centre Building in Berakas as part of the 2nd Borneo Island Historic Project. This event, organized by the Brunei History Centre through the Borneo Studies Centre Division (penBORNEO), aimed to enhance the understanding of Borneo's rich history among the youth. According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme was attended by 40 members of the Brunei Darussalam Scout Federation. The event featured a variety of activities, including a Borneo history quiz, a briefing on history and culture, and storytelling sessions focused on the island's past. The initiative is part of the ongoing Borneo History Lecture Programme and aims to raise public awareness regarding the significance of Borneo's historical narrative.
