BRC Helpline

The Brunei Red Crescent Society Support Line, or better known as the Brunei Red Cresent, BRC Helpline receive an average of 200 calls per day. The total does not include inquiries and calls via Whatsapp since it was first reactivated on the 10th of August with 5 lines.

According to Dayang Eizan Hj Sulaiman, BRC’s Public Relations and Communications Officer, the helpline operates daily from 8 in the morning to 6.30 in the evening. The BRC Helpline plays a role in assisting the Health Advice Line 148 and the Ministry of Health’s BruHealth Line in answering queries faced by the public who encounter problems with BruHealth and on the Quarantine Order and others.

The BRC helpline is operated by volunteers comprising undergraduates from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA and Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB. The public is requested to provide cooperation in a polite and courteous manner when contacting the BRC Helpline.
