Breaking of the Fast

The Aftercare Support Association, AFSA will always provide the best service in attending to the affairs of the welfare of aftercare peers. In the meantime, AFSA also wants to see the aftercare peers to continue to succeed and be able to live independently in going through a challenging life. The matter was among those shared by the Deputy President of AFSA at the Tahlil ceremony and Breaking of the Fast with aftercare peers and families, late yesterday afternoon. He added, several activities are planned throughout 2023 to provide consultation to former inmates.

According to Awang Haji Mustapa bin Haji Masri, besides providing consultation and counselling, several activities such as opening a car wash workshop and stalls at Sumbangsih Mulia to give aftercare peers the opportunity to have a better life.

The ceremony coincided with the presentation of basic necessities to the aftercare peers by Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohammed, Member of the Legislative Council. The religious activity aimed to strengthen the personality and self-reliance as well as the positive identity of the aftercare peers.
