In an effort to increase awareness and understanding of the principles of Maqasid Syari’ah, the Ministry of Religious Affairs yesterday morning held a Briefing on the Understanding of Maqasid Syari’ah in the Management and Administration of Brunei Darussalam for officers and staff of the Ministry of Health and its departments. The briefing was held at Dewan Al-‘Afiah, Ministry of Health.
The briefings were delivered by Pengiran Doctor Hajah Norwidayati binti Pengiran Haji Metusin, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Syariah, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB; Doctor Adibah Husna binti Haji Ismail, Deputy Director of Core Knowledge Centre, KUPU SB and Dayang Norhayati binti Haji Abdul Rahman, Assistant Religious Development Officer, Islamic Da’wah Centre. The briefings among others, provided understanding and awareness of the importance of Maqasid Syari’ah in the governance of an organisation as well as in daily life.
