Brunei and Saudi Arabia Agree on Twenty-Five Initiatives to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

Bandar seri begawan: Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have taken significant steps to enhance their bilateral cooperation through the Joint Committee on Economic and Technical Cooperation. The committee serves as a critical platform to advance shared economic interests and the welfare of both nations’ peoples. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, emphasized the committee’s importance during the 2nd Meeting of the Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Joint Committee.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the meeting saw both countries reflecting on the positive strides made in their economic relations. The two nations agreed on twenty-five initiatives aimed at strengthening collaboration across several sectors, including trade and investment, transport, Haj and Umrah, sports, heritage, education, human resource development, and media. The meeting, which took place in Bandar Seri Begawan, marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing partnership between Brunei and Saudi Arabia.
