Brunei and Singapore Enhance Bilateral Cooperation in Religious Services

Jerudong: Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore are making concerted efforts to strengthen their bilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on religious services. This development was highlighted during a courtesy call received by the Minister of Religious Affairs from the Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs, Republic of Singapore.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Honourable Associate Professor Doctor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim is currently on a two-day visit to Brunei. The courtesy call served as a platform for both parties to exchange views on initiatives aimed at benefiting the development of the Muslim Ummah. It also emphasized the ongoing spirit of friendship and collaboration between Brunei and Singapore, particularly through their respective religious institutions, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS).
