The Examinations Department, Ministry of Education has released the results of the Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'A', 'AS' and 'O' Levels and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations for May/June 2019.
From 127 candidates who sat for the Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. 'A' Levels examinations, 97 or 76 point 3-8 percent obtained at least 1 'A' Level. Overall, 45 candidates or 35 point 4-3 percent obtained 2 'A's.
Meanwhile out of 1527 who sat for the 'AS' Levels, 1,456 or 95 point 3-5 percent obtained at least one 'AS' subject. 221 candidates or 79 point 9-6 percent achieved at least two 'AS' levels.
Meanwhile, 1,833 candidates not including who took one or two subjects, sat for the Brunei Cambridge G.C.E 'O' Levels, taking from 3 to 9 subjects. 225 candidates took from 5 to 9 subjects and 79 or 35 point 11 percent of them obtained 5 credits and above 'O's. The school candidates can obtain the result slips at their schools while private candidates can obtain the slips at the Examinations Department, Ministry of Education during office hours.
Candidates who wish the October/November examinations can register as 'Late Entry'. They are required to pay 'Late Entry Fee' for each subject taken. Registration form and information can had from the Examinations Department and the closing date for 'Late Entry' is the 4th of September.
