Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level and IGCSE October/November 2021 Results

The Ministry of Education through the Department of Examinations has released Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘O’ Level and International General Certificates of Secondary Education, IGCSE October/November 2021 Examinations results. Both examinations adopt an alternative means of assessing student performance that is, using School Assessed Grades, SAG.

A total of 5,885 candidates sat for the examination in the October/November 2021 session. The achievement of candidates at the school level who obtained at least 8 ‘O’ levels and above is 1,621 candidates. Whilst those who obtained at least 5 ‘O’ levels and above are 3,324 candidates. And the candidates who obtained at least 4 ‘O’ levels and above are 3,928.

A total of 599 school candidates obtained Grade A in 5 to 14 subjects. 67 candidates showed excellent results with the achievement of Aggregate 6, Grade A star in 6 to 13 subjects. In addition, 142 candidates obtained Grade A in 8 to 14 subjects, of which 49 were government school candidates. 96 candidates obtained Grade A in 7 subjects, 132 candidates in 6 subjects and 229 candidates in 5 subjects.

For students and the general public who are eligible and intend to sit for the Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘O’ level and IGCSE in May/June 2022, may register directly at the respective schools or the Department of Examinations, Ministry of Education for private candidates during office hours. The closing date for May/June examination registration for private candidates is on Monday, 14th February. Meanwhile, school candidates must submit applications through their respective schools.
