All Brunei citizens are confirmed safe following an attack at Westminster Bridge in London. His Excellency Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom, confirmed the matter when contacted by RTB's News Centre this morning.
His Excellency said that based on information from the Metropolitan Police Casualty Bureau hotline and observation from the High Commission and the Students Unit, NO Brunei Darussalam nationals was among those injured. Nonetheless, His Excellency added, the Brunei High Commission and students will continue to monitor the whereabouts and safety of the Brunei students and citizens in the United Kingdom. His Excellency said the Brunei High Commission also advised Brunei Darussalam citizens who are in the United Kingdom and London in particular to be always cautious and careful as well as avoid from visiting the affected areas.
