Bandar seri begawan: Forty-eight participants, including students from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Institute of Studies, took part in the Brunei Darussalam Civic Programme. The inaugural programme for 2025/2026, organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Nationhood Unit, Information Department, was launched on the morning of December 8th. This programme aims to provide the community with understanding and the latest information on national affairs, fostering a spirit of nationhood based on the Malay Islamic Monarchy Concept, as well as the values of culture, religion, and sovereignty that form the basis of national identity.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Dayang Siti Bismi Nuruliman binti Haji Awang Emzah, Acting Director of Information. Participants will be exposed to a series of briefings and study visits to several government and private agencies, alongside participating in teamwork activities throughout the programme.
