Brunei Darussalam Participates in Education World Forum

London: Brunei Darussalam's participation in the Education World Forum (EWF) underscores the Ministry of Education's ongoing commitment to enhancing the national education system, ensuring it aligns with global trends and the aspirations of Wawasan Brunei 2035. Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, the Minister of Education, recently participated in the forum held in London, United Kingdom.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the forum convened Education Ministers, policymakers, industry leaders, and education experts to deliberate on developments, challenges, and future directions in the global education sector. The event was inaugurated by The Right Honourable Bridget Phillipson, MP, Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities from the Department for Education in the United Kingdom.

The Minister of Education also engaged in several plenary sessions and bilateral meetings during the forum. Accompanying her was Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The theme for this year's forum was "Educating for a Shared Future: Peace, Planet, Purpose and Pathways."
