Brunei Darussalam’s Participant Departs for 27th International Al-Quran Musabaqah

Brunei Darussalam is participating in the 27th International Al-Quran Musabaqah of the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the men's category for Memorisation, Reading and Interpretation of Al-Quran. The country's participant, Awang Abdul Aziz bin Noor Nasran, departed for Jordan, 13th June night. The 6-day competition starts 15th June.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell was Awang Haji Madzneh bin Haji Mohd Noor, Head of the Islamic Eminence Development Section. The delegation included Awang Mohd Ali Sabri bin Haji Yusof, a teacher at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfix Al-Quran Institute as the manager and teacher. Awang Abdul Azizi is participating in the memorisation of 30 Juz or Chapters of Al-Quran category and this will be the first competition that he participates in.
