Brunei DPMM FC 1 – 3 Albirex Niigata FC

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman last night watched the Singapore Premier League match between Brunei DPMM FC and Albirex Niigata FC. The match took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

Also in attendance were His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's children, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Muntaqim and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, as well as other members of the Royal Family.

Brunei DPMM FC made the opening goal through a penalty kick by Volodymyr Pryiomov at the 12th minute, and led the game 1-nil. However, Albirex Niigata FC managed to equalise 14 minutes later through Shuhei Hoshino.

In the second half, Albirex Niigata FC continued as they doubled the score at the 72nd minute through Riku Moriyasu, and added the third and final goal at the final minutes of the match by Taku Morinaga. The result Brunei DPMM FC 1, Albirex Niigata FC 3 remained until the final whistle.
