Brunei Gastronomy Week 2022

Local youths are urged to take the opportunity to learn and improve their culinary skills and be more innovative and serious in pursuing a career in the culinary industry through The Brunei Gastronomy workshop, a new initiative by the Tourism Development Department to be held virtually on the 1st of March.

Speaking during the launching of “Brunei Gastronomy Week 2022” held virtually yesterday afternoon, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, hoped that more local youths go out of their comfort zones and push their career in the culinary industry not just locally but also internationally.

Meanwhile, the Brunei Gastronomy Week 2021 participants recieved their respective awards. The 6th Brunei Gastronomy Week themed, “Pandan Leaves” is organised in conjunction with the 38th National Day celebration.
