Bandar seri begawan: Several food premises in the country have successfully received approval for the Halal Certificate and/or Permit, as announced by the Brunei Islamic Religious Council. These approvals cover both new applications and renewals, ensuring compliance with halal standards across the nation.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Halal Food Control Division of the Syariah Affairs Department, revealed that 20 premises have been newly approved for halal certificates, with two also obtaining permits. Additionally, 25 premises have had their halal certificates renewed, with two of these also receiving permits.
