Brunei Logs 133 New COVID-19 Cases

Brunei reported 133 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total tally to 16,691.

According to Brunei’s Ministry of Health, the newly recorded cases included 129 local infections and four imported cases.

As of Tuesday, 94.8 percent of Brunei’s population had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 94.0 percent had completed their vaccination schedule of two doses, and 40.5 percent had received three doses.

A total of 596 active cases are still being treated and monitored in Brunei, and 102 people have died from the pandemic so far, in the country.
